I didn't expect much due to low cost point, but I have to admit it really worked very well. The water went from near black to perfectly clear in a few days. Did I get l lucky?? I am impressed.

Q: What size pool will one package treat? I have a 4 foot deep, 16 ft in diameter above ground pool, will one package do it or will I need more?

  • A: I have a 24’ pool and the product is plenty for starting my pool up.  With that said I don’t use alot of the vinyl cleaner so I use additional liquid chlorine and some algaecide.

Q: Hey!  I just purchased a new pool, 12ft x 39.5in . - 12'L x 12'W x 3.2'H ( 3.66 x 3.66 x 1 m )   Water capacity- ( 90% ) 9, 150 L ( 2,417 gal )  Wondering the ratio of chemical to this amount of water to make it crystal clear.

Q: Hi, will this work with the quick-set 12ft and 30in summer waves pool? I was thinking of buying the pool and this opening kit to clean the pool, so this would be very helpful!

  • A: Hi, if the pool is brand new and filled with fresh water you will not need to buy an opening kit. Be sure to test your water and monitor/adjust your sanitizer, pH, alcalinity and calcium hardness levels. Thank you

  • A: After an opening chlorination I waited 24 hours.  Test with your testing kit to ensure it’s in between 1-3 ppm

Q: There are no instructions other than on the individual containers. How do I know which order to add each chemical, and when I should do it?

  • A: Hi, Make sure your pool is running 1-Pour the degreaser into the water, circling around the pool as you do so. 2-Wait for 4 hours. 3-Add Aquarius Stab chlor Gran into the water, again circling around the pool. 4-Add Quick Clear to the skimmer. 5-Backwash or clean your cartridge after 24 hours. Q: If I have an 18' x 33' oval with 48" depth that brings my total liters to about 54K, so what's the best course to cover that extra 4K liters if the kit is up to 50K?

  • A: Hi, you do have 52 496 liters. Depending on how is the pool water you might not need extra shock. If your pool water is very dirty and does not turn clear after the kit, we recommend to do an extra shock treatment with granular chlorine or stabilized chlorine granule. Thank you

Q: Does.it come with chlorine pucks and do i need a floatie for chlorine

  • A: The Above Ground Pool Opening Kit (0813373P) is only meant for the opening. It comes with a 5L liquid chlorine, 4L degreaser and 1L vinyl cleaner. Pucks are used for weekly maintenance and yes one of the dispensing option is to use a floater. Puck are available in 1Kg, 7Kg and 10Kg.
