Agri-Fab Swivel Tow Cart, 1000-lb

I purchased my Agri-Fab swivel tow cart 2 years ago and it works great except for the dumping. When I purchased the cart I expected that it would do what it said, dump material out of the box. Unfortunately it does not completely dump all the material from the dump and requires some effort to remove rock, dirt etc. That isn’t a big issue but when dumping heavy material I have found the two top corners of the rear of the cart have broken and needs to be repaired. So a word to anyone purchasing this product, make sure you take precautions when dumping material from this wagon.

I bought this cart in the early spring to do work around my property, to pull behind on my ATV. I used the slots to build a fence in order to hang a pole saw, rake, string trimmers or other tools I would need for landscape work. Having this cart has been a gamechanger for productivity around the property. It makes having and ATV at least, if not more, capable than a UTV. The size of the tub is darn near perfect and having the ability to quickly dump the contents makes certain tasks very easy. In my opinion, this is the best value Utility Cart on the market and would definitely purchase it again. Highly recommended.

I looked for a sturdy, well designed dump cart to pull behind our ride-on lawn tractor. I wanted to “replace” our wheelbarrow that we typically used for cleaning up around the yard, and for hauling away brush, leaves etc. I was looking for something about twice the capacity of the wheelbarrow but just as solid and durable. This Agri-Fab swivel tow cart rated at 1000 lb capacity has fulfilled all my expectations for making our yard work easier and even more enjoyable! It took me about an hour to put together, with a little help from my wife when a third hand was needed. Instructions were well written and the tools required were basic. I was pleased with how well it appeared when completed. The best, however, was when we used the cart behind our lawn tractor. The cart has great capacity for branches and clippings. What we carried in two wheelbarrow loads, we could put in one cart load. Dumping the load was easy when I got the hang of the front clip holding the plastic dump box down. A real benefit to the ease of using this cart is the swivel feature of the trailer when unloading. I didn’t have to be exactly where I wanted to unload; I could compensate by swivelling the cart body a little to put the load closer to the previous loads. Backing up a trailer a little trickier compared to wheeling a wheelbarrow, but hauling a cart behind a lawn tractor beats pushing a heavy wheelbarrow load of wood, or grass clippings, or multiple loads of branch cuttings from the evergreens around the yard. My only caution is when using the cart for soil or gravel, don’t overload the cart and take care when dumping the load. This is a dump cart, not a dump truck. I give the Agri-Fab Swivel Tow Cart, 1000 lb. capacity a deserved 5 star rating, and a hearty endorsement.

Within a month of moderate use the plastic bed is cracked and the locking mechanism for the dump bed is twisted which makes it difficult to lock the bed in the down position. Overall not an impressive start to an expensive trailer.

I use my Agri-fad 18” cart to maintain our 1.5 +acre lot. It’s been a great card for hauling everything from cement blocks, tree logs and yard trash.
