Great rod and reel

The name kinda says it on this one. "UltraCast". This is one very smooth rig. The reel is sturdy and very smooth. Very well balanced and the rod-reel are a great match together. I have mine loaded up with 20lb green Suffix832 braid (6lb mono equiv thickness) tipped with Vanish flourocarbon leaders. The UltraCast just sings with the suffix braid line. LONG casts when I want to. Precision placement tosses when I need to. Have hauled up some big pike, walleye, big lake trout, and decent rainbows with this. Also works well finessing for perch. A very smooth, durable, and versatile combo. Get it on sale if you can wait. If not, it is still worth every dollar at full price!
