Bought this on sale for half price and it has saved me money by diagnosing simple auto problems that can be easily fixed. Get the code go online and get how to answers. It has worked well for me.

Wont read SRS codes on Jeep

Hi, i bought this scanner specifically to read SRS and ABS codes on my 2008 Jeep Compass. Will not read SRS or ABS ... Only the engine codes. Beware !

Cet appareil lit les codes engine pour mon Honda civic mais pour les témoins srs et abs ce model n`est pas compatibles pour les lire sur les marques Honda. Il faut acheter le model 3160 et l`a c`est correct. Vous pouvez aller sur le site innova et parcourir la liste des marques de voitures avant d`acheter un appareil.

I bought the Innova ABS/SRS and OBD2 Diagnostic Tool for my husband's birthday and all I can say is Thank You Canadian Tire!! My husband loves this tool!! He is raving to any one and everyone who will listen that this is the best diagnostic tool around. Thanks Canadian Tire for making shopping for the man who has every thing seem like a walk in the park.

ABS & SRS functions useless

I've had this scan tool for a while now, and used it a couple times on various vehicles. I would like to start by saying as a code reader it does its job, just as good as the $119 unit, but when it came to resetting the SRS light in my Mercedes it failed, and for diagnosing the ABS light on my 04 grand Cherokee and 04 grand caravan failed again. Come to think of it... every time I've gone to do anything other than check engine codes, its let me down.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will this unit read codes on a 2010 Mazda RX-8? Are there any codes it will not read?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The 3150b is able to scan engine codes for the Mazda RX-8. However it will not be able to scan ABS/SRS on Mazda’s. We hope this has answered your question. Q: Will is diagnos ABS/SRS error codes for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

A: The vehicle that you are contacting us about, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, will be supported by the 25-1062 for both ABS and SRS codes so long as the vehicle is OBD2 compliant and has a gross vehicle weight less than 8,500 pounds.

Q: will this reader erase air bag light in dash 2003 honda civic 2003

A: Thank You for your inquiry. First we need to determine if the tool has a USB port in the bottom of the device, if it does not then the vehicle does not support SRS and you will be unable to clear the code. If the tool does have a USB cable then it is compatible with SRS and you will be able to clear the code for the Honda Civic from years 1996-2009. If the tool that you have is model number 3150d then the device is SRS compatible with Honda Civics from 1996-2013. To clear the SRS light a code needs to be retrieved before you are able to erase the code in turn turning the light off. If you connect the tool and attempt pressing the erase button, if detected by the vehicle, you will be able to turn off the light. However, if nothing occurs there is no way of turning off the light without first having retrieved a code with our tool. Thank you for your time.

Q: Will this scan tool work on ABS/SRS for a 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe?

A: The unit will not retrieve ABS or SRS codes from Infiniti. However it will retrieve “Check Engine” Light (P codes) codes if the vehicle is OBD-II certified.

Q: Will this product clear codes on a Kia Rio? Will this product clear codes on a Kia Rio? I have another (older) model of a code reader that this company sells, and it won't read or clear codes on my 2008 Kia Rio, nor on my wife's 2011 Kia Rio.

A: This code reader will read and clear codes related to the “Check Engine” light (MIL), on all OBD-II certified vehicles sold after 1996. If both your KIA vehicles were sold in the United States, or Canada there should be no issue with this function. However, this model does not have ABS or SRS compatibility with KIA vehicles.

A: Please see vendor's response: This code reader will read issues with your powertrain. Unfortunately, your vehicle will not be compatible with our ABS coverage. Again, our tools are designed to erase hard codes, but not permanent codes. It is not recommended for drivers to turn off their vehicles’ “Check Engine” light until current problem has been identified and repairs have been made. Q: will the Inova 025-1062 code reader work for ABS codes on 97 chew 1/2 ton, and 2002 Pontic Grand Prix?

A: 1376130 Status: Pending Moderation The Innova model 3150b listed on Canadian Tire as product #25-1062-8 will not work on the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix as only models from 2004-2008 are covered. For the 1997 Chevy ½ ton there are different makes and models such as the Silverado 1500,K1500 and c1500 which all have different years of coverage. Please see the auto parts department of your local Canadian Tire store for assistance
