Great Shed/ poor handling at CT.

The shed is good quality and fairly easy to build. My only complaint is that it has numerous damaged and scratched panels. A plastic trim piece was broken from the careless way the box containing the shed was handled. I called Arrow to let them know what i found, but, that i blame whoever handled the shed at Canadian Tire. I didn't discover the damage till i got through the framing and started putting the walls up. Arrow is sending a replacement trim piece and something for my trouble since i knew they had no control over the condition in which i received their product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does it include floor or you have buy extra

  • A: Hi Amin, The flooring type used will vary depending on base type and application. These sheds do not include a floor because of all of the possibilities available. If you are building a solid wooden or concrete platform, that can be used as a floor on its own. If installing your shed on level ground we do offer a Floor Frame Kit which will provide support for a plywood floor. Q: Does this need a foundation? can it go right on the lawn? or do I need patio stones?

  • A: it needs anchoring down for sure against wind and a stable level surface. I have a 8x6 one and have a slope on my property beside the house. (walk-out basement house side slope). I built a 8x6 pressure treated wooden deck on short posts to level out the slope... and mounted this shed on it. Made use of some otherwise useless area of property.

Q: Does this have an actual floor? It says floor frame kit included but I have seen a few reviews saying they had to build a base/floor.

  • A: Hello, The Floor Frame Kit is not to be confused with a base/foundation. The floor kit is comprised of channels used to slightly elevate a plywood floor. However, this is installed last and does not serve as a base for the shed itself. If pouring a concrete base or building a wooden foundation then this kit is not necessary.
