Best French Press I've Ever Owned!

I am extremely happy with this press, it is very easy to clean, sturdy and best of all keeps the coffee hot surprisingly well. My hot tip is to rinse out with hot water before filling to make your coffee!

Bought this prior to a camping trip & am very happy with the durability & brewing. However the rating of 8 cups is not accurate as you can only get 4 measured cups of brewed coffee. Did not test the insulation property as we filled both our 2 cup mugs.

  • A: Pour faire du café dans une cafetière à piston, il faut verser de l'eau bouillante sur le café placé au fond. Le filtre/piston est Inséré après et poussé vers le bas quand le café est prêt. Ce n'est pas comme une cafetière italienne dans laquelle il faut faire bouillir l'eau pour qu'elle monte sur le café.

Q: what is the actual volume of this press? (ounces would be nice!) I know it says 8 cups, but it seems to be same size as my glass one, which is 34 oz - i.e., 4 (and a bit) cups.

  • A: Hi there, The volume of this french press is 34OZ. The press is measured in small cups, each cup is 125ml, which is how we get 8. This transfer to about 4 regular sized coffee cups. Hope this helps!
