The Monroe OESpectrum Strut is designed for durability and consistent performance. The all-weather fluid with special modifiers helps reduce friction and ensures smooth rod reaction while the rod displaced calving is tailored specifically for each application and adjusts to road extremes to deliver a consistent, comfortable ride. Designed to offer improved stability for greater control and handling, this replacement strut also features a Twin Technology™ Active Control System to help reduce noise, vibration and harshness for superior control under most driving conditions.

Fluon banded piston provides consistent sealing between piston and pressure tube for better control and increased durability
Hardened and chrome plated piston rod construction offers long service life
Nitrogen gas charged for improved ride and handling that also helps maintain tire-to-road contact by reducing aeration

Q: I have 2013 Jetta base model 2.0L gas. wondering what the outer diameter of the strut is? I purchased a strut assembly that said it would fit my vehicle, but it is a 55mm diameter and is too big to fit into the collar. I believe it is a 50mm OD i require

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The majority of these struts are manufactured in North America, however some units are produced in China as well (depends on your vehicle application). These struts are frequently tested by both the vendor & Canadian Tire to ensure they meet OE standards, and perform as intended regardless of the manufacturing location.
