la résine colle pas trop trop! il disent dle laisser 20min Au soleil.. jlai laisser aumoin 2-3h pis cetais même pas sèche! faut qui fasse température parfaite pour l'application. Ordinaire!!

Doesn't Work

Repairing your own windshield seems like a far fetched idea but since this product was made by 3M, I thought it a possibility. I should have read the reviews before buying it. The mechanism seemed to work well enough but the resin did not fill the cracks and there is no way this product is reusable. The resin bonded the plunger and base together. I couldn't even add more resin to try to fill the cracks better. One and done. I also tried using the resin to fill a bit and it never cured. It was 29C and the car was in full sun for two hours and the plastic cover just came right off and there was no resin in the pit. The only thing the resin seemed to bond was the door making it useless to use again. I am disappointed that 3M sells this product and that I have to give it such a bad review but it is what it is.

A Complete Fail

Followed the instructions, but no amount of pressure would push resin into crack. Actually added another crack headed off in a different direction. I suspect that the plastic plunger is malformed, not enough pressure applied to to the resin.

This product does not work

The design is very poor and this product did not work for me. The tools provided were made of cheap plastic, and already bent and crooked, so they did not fit well. The dropper was not airtight on the top, the alcohol swab was dry and the plastic film had been folded, so it was impossible to use.

Not impressed.

Tried to fix a very small chip. The design is awkward to use, and can leak very easily. Even after it is all set up and you apply the pressure it is difficult to fill cracks. They say it is reusable, but you cannot reinsert the screw in tool after the resin has been used and has filled the threads. It seems like the design was created to work around another design. Don't waste your money or time. You will be very luck if it works for you.

Q: is this product good for glass windows too?

A: If you are thinking of sticking a flat object, not too heavy, to flat glass, my experience indicates that it would work well. If you are thinking of using the tape to fasten a pane of glass into a frame, glazier’s putty would work much better because it can be formed more readily into the required fillet.
