Q: Would this work to re-attach a small crank out window on an RV?

A: Ian, I'm sorry about the request. I saw the picture in my eMail afte I had sended the mail. A real 3M may be a good product but I will prefer to use 3M Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive. The ASIN is B000RW1XCK at 25$ca plus shippings. Try to search on Amazon for a better price or go to a paint body shop because they use urethane. Serge

A: Providing you clean both surfaces first. It needs to be warm when tape is installed and it should last the winter weather.

A: Yes, the 3M Super Strength Molding Tape is suitable for mounting side deflectors. If the deflectors also come with mechanical fasteners, then those should also be used. Apply the tape to the full contract surface for greatest strength. Also, clean both surfaces well with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax or oils.
