The Champion Platinum Spark Plug ensures consistent engine performance by maintaining a stable operating temperature under all loads. The heat-active alloy allows the electrodes to reach their optimal temperature for a quick and precise spark. The platinum-tipped centre wire resists wear, helping the gap size stay within specification throughout the lifespan of the plug. The thin-wire centre electrode and V-trimmed ground electrode focus the spark to promote complete combustion and less misfiring.
