Decent Tires but Early Installation Issue

My previous tires were nearing the end of their lifespan just before winter, so I began researching replacements. I compared well-known brands like Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin, and Pirelli that have been trusted in Ontario for many years. I originally wanted the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires that were on sale, but I couldn’t find a full set matching my rim size. I eventually purchased a full set of four Pirelli Cinturato P8 All Season SUV Tire tires for my SUV at a reasonable price and had them installed about a week ago after one of my older tires burst due to pothole damage. I also purchased the extended warranty for peace of mind. Shortly after installation I noticed white residue around the edges of all four tires and rims. A few days later the rear passenger tire started losing air. I filled it once thinking it might be minor, but the issue returned again shortly after. I will be returning this weekend to have it inspected. I’m hoping it’s just an installation issue rather than a tire defect. The tires themselves seem fine so far, but the installation should have been checked more carefully the first time.
