Will end up costing you, avoid!

Bought this Remy alternator because it was the only one I could get in my area at the time, I was in a pinch. Installed with a fresh battery. 3 months later my battery is swelling and leaking, alternator was faulty and sent way to much voltage through my system. Ruined a battery ($200) it also fried my AC compressor clutch ($300+). I also went to canadian tire to get a replacement and that one too was defective. I strongly believe you would be better off going to a junkyard and pulling one off an old car. Save yourself time and money, avoid remy at all costs.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor quality

I bought and installed this refurbished alternator on a Thursday (the only two that Canadian tire sold was refurbished) and it quit working that Sunday!! Had to remove a 3 day old alternator , drive back to the store to exchange it and back home to reinstall the new one! Not impressed
