Q: i need a heater cord replacement for a 2022 Camry...any suggestions where it can be purchased in Manitoba? it comes with three rounded plugging points (female/male)

A: I was at my local Canadian Tire and was informed by the attendant that they do not have it in their inventory. I eventually got one from the Toyota dealer by simply walking in.

Q: is this all I need to heat the engine?

A: If it is a traditional block heater/coolant immersion heater this is the most effective way to preheat the engine. With this type of heater, you get 100% heat transfer into the coolant and in turn that heat warms up the fluids in the engine. Depending on the ambient temperature a heater like this can achieve a heat balance in 2 to 4 hours after being energized.
