Grout Cleaner

This is an acid-based cleaner that should only be used by a professional, in my opinion. It is meant to be poured only on the grout but this is difficult to do. Excess liquid needs to be rinsed off almost immediately, which make the process slow and cumbersome. Now for the real issue - if using this product, you MUST test EACH type of tile floor or wall. In my case, the product etched permanently into one type of tile where I cleaned the grout, despite following instructions explicitly. Avoid this product and find something less risky. Would give it zero if that option existed.

Did absolutely nothing

as others have said, followed the instructions perfectly. Tried it twice and literally made 0 change to the colour or cleanliness of grout in my shower. Lysol shower cleaner with bleach did a 10x better job. Luckily it only cost 8 bucks. not worth the effort to get a mask, goggles, work clothes etc for it to do nothing. I just spray regular shower cleaner after a shower and it worked 10x better with 0 effort.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this cleaner only used on white grout.  My whole first floor is light beige and of course the lines are quite dark?  Please advise.  Any other comments would be appreciated as like everyone else I have tried many things.  Thanks you.

Q: Stove fan oil stain removal The wall tile behind my stove is showing oil drip stains coming from food oils from the stove fan... Can I use a Q-Tip or something with your product to remove it?

  • A: We recommend the Tile&Grout Cleaner for floor and shower tile only. For the situation described below, we recommend CTC 53-0003, which is the All Around Oxy Cleaner in a 946mL bottle.
