I previously bought a plastic rake at the big box store, based on review ratings. Hated it. Glad I bought this flexible metal tine rake at Canadian Tire. Does a way better job. My wife also likes it.

2 ridiculous things!! The handle is just jammed into the rake tines holder... BUT there is a small screw in a plastic bag attached for you to take home and try to screw it into the hard wood yourself!! I haven't been able to as yet. Secondly, their info is printed on a piece of paper that is GLUED to the tines. I am now in process of using hot water and fingernails to clean it off. Ridiculous!! Word to the wise: Check before you buy. Not impressed at all....

For best results, pre-drill a small guide hole into the hardwood handle before inserting the screw. This should make the process smoother and more manageable. Regarding the paper glued to the tines, we understand this can be frustrating. An effective method to remove it is to soak the tines in warm, soapy water for a few minutes before peeling the paper away. This should help the adhesive loosen more easily.
