Used it for the first time today and it worked well. A bit of work to assemble but worth the effort in the end. Like other reviews, position the log such that the amount of wood you want on the last cut is behind the fulcrum and it saves you time adjusting it. Folds easily with two wire lock pins.

I assembled and used the sawhorse the same day. It works great for larger logs and it saved my back! It is very sturdy and I had no problems using it. Very pleased.

Great tool for wood cutting

As a CT product tester myself I had to write on this one as I loved it even though I bought it for myself as a regular customer and not as a tester product review.
I was looking for an easier more portable sawhorse for when we go woodcutting in bush and came across this one. I looked at the video of this and other similar models and decided to stay loyal and try this one out. We usually cut between 6 and 10 trees and they I try to keep max 12 to 16 inches across at the base at around 40 feet plus tall. Cut them in half prior to putting on the sawhorse.
You won't be disappointed as it worked great. We had our trees up on it quickly and once we got the balance figured out it was amazing. No more bending over to mark the cuts and cutting stooped over with a dead back after cutting on average 6-10 trees. I like the fact it is small enough we can drag the sawhorse to the tree and don't have to carry the heavy uncut tree. Just make sure you are patient in figuring the 2/3 to 1/3 balance of the tree and cut from both ends as it gets shorter. We probably cut our marking and slicing tree time in half yesterday or more but the biggest thing was no sore back after from stooping down to cut all the trees.
From a product point of view it is fairly solid and assembly instructions could be slightly better but an hour at most should do it. Make sure you have a set of hex keys as I did as there are are couple that are not in most peoples tool boxes unless you use them a lot. It also can be folded up nicely for storage as well. I wrapped a couple of bungee cords around the legs to hold it and is standing nicely in the corner of the garage. Definitely a winner on this product.

Easier to assemble.. Holds logs very securely and makes cutting safe and quick. Keeps logs off the ground to protect both your chainsaw and your back.

Q: Why do all the sample videos show people cutting up dead softwood logs? Will it operate the same with a heavy log that tensions the chains when you move to the end to get the correct angle for loading?
