Does what it's meant to do.

Used it to split big (18"-24") maple rounds. Works great. I'm nervous about using a big splitting maul, but this lets me put the cut exactly where I want it, lined up with an existing crack. Looking forward to trying it on some tight, hard hemlock rounds -- once they season a bit.
