Bought two of these exact shovels to replace my old Garant brand shovels, which lasted for nearly 10 years!! We are barely half way through winter, and the edges are already worn down so much…jagged and uneven, there’s no way they will last even 1 season. The plastic is cheap and super thin, which I believe is an intentional choice by Canadian Tire to keep you coming back for new shovels on a frequent basis. This is completely unacceptable, a waste of money, and needless plastic waste. AVOID purchasing these shovels

Plastic portion is unexpectedly thinner than expected thus weaker . Could have made it thicker for its size.

Q: I purchased a snow shovel (CTC #059-6947-4). Where the blade attach's to the handle there is play. The screw that holds the handle to the blade is tight. Is it suppose to be like that. Thanks

A: I have two and both handles are secure. If it is not pushed in all the way and the teeth not fully engaged it could wobble a bit

Q: Re: Yardworks 21 inch snow shovel. Why must we purchase a complete shovel when all we really need is a new shovel head? Why not allow consumers to purchase JUST the replacement shovel head????

A: This product carries a 5 year exchange warranty against defects in workmanship and materials when accompanied by proof of purchase. There are no replacement parts. If you are within the warranty, please return to your local Canadian Tire store with your receipt and item, for further assistance.

Q: Inventory in Sylvan Lake We have almost zero inventory of snow shovels with the most snow we have seen in decades,why? When will we be getting restocked? What models will the store have once it is restocked? Who do I ask that actually knows the answer? BG
