    Great product/setup a bit cumbersome

    I have been using for about a month now. Nice to be able to control watering from the phone. greenhouse security camera is great when of vaca… the setup was a bit cumbersome, but once you figure out its shortcomings it’s doable. Only 4 stars because of setup, apart from that 5 stars.

    Exactly what I needed

    This gadget did exactly what I was hoping for. It was easy to set up through the app on my phone and it worked magically. My backyard is now watered every morning automatically. I can even turn it on and off from wherever I have a connection with my phone. Only four stars as the wifi connector has insufficient range to reach my front yard to another controller I want to connect there.

    The app is horrible

    I bought this thinking it would be as good as my neighbour’s b-hyve timer. I was wrong. The app for this thing is terrible which makes this thing pretty useless. I programmed a scheduled time and it didn’t seem to retain it. When I did get the schedule to work it stopped watering before the time was up. That wasn’t the only problem, it was always losing connection. Another issue for me was I could not program it or access it when I was away from my home network. If you are looking at this as a technological advantage, look elsewhere.

    Very Frustrating

    This product and app are not intuitive to say the least. In fact set was confusing. The time burned through a fresh set of batteries (all checked out at 1.7v at startup)in about 36 hours. App lost connection in about 24 hours and wouldn't accept my credentials after that. Still haven't been able to reconnect with my account even by saying I can't remember password and have them send a reconnect email.

    Q: About the settings. Continuous is simple to understand. But what does the "intermittent" mode ? It starts and stops at intervals ? Or does it change water flow to adapt to different sprayer types ?
