Need battery that fits the trimmer
a year ago
I bought this trimmer and it was great. Then the battery stopped charging. I cannot use the trimmer anymore because I cannot find a battery to replace it. They are discontinued. What a waste!

J'ai acheté un coupe-herbe 20V - 8po. Mais pourquoi tant de batteries non compatibles? 20V/3Ah devraient toutes avoir le mm connecteur.

Probably an Older Generation Battery!

This battery does not fit current or at least newer Yardworks products. I wanted it for my newer grass trimmer but it was not a compatible fit fit!! It was on for a good sale price.....I'm guessing to clear out old (and somewhat useless!) stock.

Supplementary battery for Yardworks Grass Trimmer

Recently bought a second 20 volt lithium battery to augment my original (about 5 year old) battery to power my grass trimmer. Although the original battery still had a good amount of run time, a second battery was needed to completely eliminate the excess grass and weeds. The new second battery works great and being new, it provides a slightly longer run time than the original battery. With 2 batteries there are no issues with completing the job of trimming the excess vegetation from the yard.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: it's got the same specs as the replacement but not sure about the size. you'll be better off with the one they list as a replacement i.e Replacement Battery: Yardworks Replacement 20V Battery (CT# 060-2346)
