Why can't Canadian Tire sell nozzles that work?

I turned the water on at the house and the nozzle's end popped off. It was a brand new nozzle, I purchased two weeks ago.

Another great innovative product

Have not used the nozzle much yet, but so far a great product. Easy to use and ball valve vs more conventional plunger system for nozzle is promising. Previous nozzles always end up with issues / leaks from the plunger on/off mechanism it seems.
