I like the way it works and it feels solid. This was the second one I’ve bought because I liked the one that I bought last season. Unfortunately shortly after buying the second one, the first one started jamming and leaking. It’s a $20 item so you think you’d get more than a year’s use.

Q: Is the thumb control supposed to shut it off? The thumb control only seems to make it slightly stronger or weaker. Will not stop the flow of water. Is it defective?

A: Yes the thumb control should shut it off. It is hard to assess whether or not this is damaged as we do not have the physical product. Please take it into your local Canadian tire store where they can replace the product if it is still under warranty.
