The Yardworks Brass Water Shut-Off Valve/Hose Coupling, Assorted, is ideal for providing systematic flow control and an on/off shut-off system for easy garden use. It features a premium-grade Yardworks washer which is conditioned to hold its shape for the optimal seal. This hose shut-off coupling has an ON/Off valve to regulate the water flow for hose sprinklers. The swivel coupling enables easy hose attachment and avoids kinking. Thanks to the solid metal construction and brass coupling, you can rely on it for durable, long-term use.

Worth the purchase price

So far has been sturdy and turns easily. No leaks. The weak point appears to be the plastic toggle which has broken off on similar models. Being brass it's heavier than all plastic models, which some people may find a drawback if attaching directly to a simple handheld nozzle. I like the bright blue which would show up if it were accidentally dropped on the ground.

Compared products in store and online and found Canadian Tire to be the best. Product is well made, affordable and easy to install. All brass construction would have been the best for longevity. Hope it lasts.

Q: Can I exchange broken unit with no receipt? At the end of last summer it broke apart on the female end. Can it be exchanged for a new one still?

A: While individual Canadian Tire stores may or may not accept a return without a receipt our supplier partner is more than happy to review defective issues on a case by case basis and is often willing to replace products free of charge without receipts.

A: On/Off only works in one quarter . perpendicular is shut off (of course) but , turn blue valve towards blue female connector .Does not work both ways . . Nice and tight and this ball valve shuts off well , good choice.
