Not strong enough for weight of saw

We loved the idea of this stand last fall while using it. Opened up the shed and found the table ready to buckle under the weight of the saw. Do not leave the saw on the stand!

A: Vendor confirmed the Yardworks 6.5-Ton Log Splitter Stand (0603787) can not use directly on the 5 ton splitter

Q: Does the splitter get fixed to the table somehow or does it just sit on top?

A: Please refer to attached drawings (as per instruction manual), it needs bolts to fix the machine on the table.
