Broke it in 4 days

The handle on this axe lasted me 4 days. I split about 25 pieces of wood before it broke.

Poor quality wood handle

I bought this axe last year and when I was chopping wood this summer, the handle fractured badly on both sids during a chop. The axe head is fine and splits wood well but for the price of replacement handles looking to be yearly, just buy an axe with a better quality handle.

Great, average use axe

This is a well made, sturdy axe. It works well for the average user for wood chopping. We used it at home and at the cottage. The handle is strong and the head is attached firmly. No concerns about it flying off during use. The axe came very sharp and was a breeze to chop firewood. I would strongly recommend this axe.

Yard works Splitting Axe

Recently I was given a Yard works 4.5lbs splitting axe. It feels great in the hands, the weight is perfect. This splitting mull gives you all the power but the nice lite weight and ease of use of a normal axe.
