Just purchased this mower. Starts on 1st or 2nd pull easily & uses 1/2 the gas our previous mower did. Would highly recommend.

But try to find an air filter. I feel if Canadian Tire sells the mower they could at least sell the filter.

A: Thank you for your question. No need to remove the side cover, simply raise this flap and insert the included side discharge deflector hooking the retaining rod that holds the spring loaded flap. The spring action will keep the chute securely in place. Please contact the manufacturer's consumer resource centre at 1-800-668-1238 if you have further questions.

A: Took mower back to store and the manager suggested to have the mechanics in the auto shop have a look. After spraying ether into the intake manifold, it ran momentarily but staled again. It was decided to give me a replacement mower. The return/replacement process was pleasant and I'm satisfied with the product and return process. The manager and auto techs were very pleasant and helpful. The replacement mower started on the first pull. Thx to all.

Q: There's white smoke coming out of the engine. It's the 2nd time that happens after adding oil. I've been reading two line of advice online: 1) let it run through until the white smokes stops 2) don't start it again until someone can look at the engine. Which one is it for this brand?

A: My new mower had white smoke coming out of it but went away after running it for a few minutes until it got hot. It probably just the fogging oil from the factory. Worry about black or blue smoke.
