    Merci Normand

    Works great!

Just bought one of these to pull the snow off my house and garage. Did the garage today, this thing works great!! ALL the snow is off, right to the peak. The house will be more difficult, I will probably need a ladder to reach it, but this is a great piece of kit. Assembly instructions were a bit vague, and one nut was missing, but I had it in my junk tin so there was no problem. Quite light, even my wife was able to use it (I had to get rid of the snow we pulled down, so I had to sweat a bit). Got it on clearance, good price, good product, no downside! Get one!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    damaged product

Bought this product on clearance price. Asked associate to ensure all items were in the box... found the missing pieces in the shelves. Thought I got a great deal until I got home and started building it. Did not realize that the poles were damaged (crushed)... now I need to make another trip back to CT. That'll teach me for buying clearance items from Canadian Tire. If it's on clearance... there must be a reason. Beware if you're choosing this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great tool

I bought today. I did half my house roof with minimal effort. I destroyed myself doing my garage yesterday. I sure wish I had bought it yesterday. There was over a foot of accummulated snow and some ice underneath. A complete season of snow in Winnipeg. If you think you can do your whole roof from the ground you are mistaken. Dont over tighten the bolts going into plastic and break it and then give a bad review because of your incompetence. If you cant stand on a ladder while clearing then hire someone who wont blame the tool.

    Lightweight and easy to use

I bought a month ago when I was getting some ice dam buildup. Was easy to assemble and is very lightweight. Cleared at least 3 feet of snow quite easily. Easy to disassemble and store. Well worth the money. Best feature is that it’s a lighter weight model so not too heavy to lift.

Q: Are replacement parts available The Plastic 'head' for the roof rake has cracked. Managed to reinforce it with a bracket. Is the head replacable or should I just buy a new rake?

    • A: Not that I could find. Do yourself a fovour and buy another brand of rake. Both mine and my neighbour's Yard Works rake have cracked after one one year!

Q: Damage to shingles? Can anyone detail the type of wear this specific rake will have on asphalt shingles? I see no wheels.

    1 Answer
    • A: The polyethylene roof rake blade has been designed to efficently remove snow from the roof without damaging surfaces. Its poly material is less abrasive than metal and safe for the shingles. The roof rake blade will probably wear before the shingles get dammaged. Typically shingles have a thin layer of ice or snow which also protects the shingles from damage.
