What a joke!

We went outside to trim the grass with this Yardworks electric lawn mower today and starter button stopped working along with the motor. What a poor quality this thing is! I would not recommend this to anyone I see. Purchasing this was a huge mistake. No wonder there's a huge stack of boxes of these laying around at the back of Canadian Tire.

Note Extension Cord

This is a 12 A motor, but the ad recommends a 10 A extension cord .. beware, that is a serious error and will destroy the motor. The mower manual suggests only a 50 ft extension cord rated for 12 A.

Why did I not purchase this sooner???

I have been using a push reel mower for years and years. With it, my back would hurt so much. I just purchased this yesterday and used it today, it was a pleasure to cut my lawn, even did my neighbours too! My yard is medium sized, no problem at all, it nailed it and the lawn looks great now too! Strongly recommend this. It was easy to assemble, and did a fantastic job.

Pretty if that is what you want. The plastic starter button works once in three tries. There is no way to shorten handle and it is like pushing a boat. Would not recommend to my friends. #060-1705-4

A: Thank you for your question. Yes, you can remove the collection box. This mower has mulching and bagging capabilities.

A: Thank you for your question. The extension cord guidelines are noted on page 18 of the owner's manual. This can be downloaded off of the website. Note when using an extension cord you must use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. In this instance, you should use an extension cord rated between 12A - 16A depending on length of the cord. Once again please see page 18 in the owner's manual for additional guidance.
