purchased several weeks ago. very poor quality. the bolts that are supposed to hold the handle to the unit don't fit properly - had to use my own, but they can't be tightened sufficiently to hold the handle firmly - it twists during use. Biggest problem is the design of the blade mount. Unlike any other decent blade mount I've ever seen, this simply has a round hole through which a bolt threads. Meaning that because it is not square or have other indentations on the blade to firmly anchor it to the motor, the nut constantly comes loose after about 30 seconds of use - the motor still spins, but the blade doesn't - it just sits there getting smoking hot from the friction. Don't waste your money on this.

Please be advised the handle bolt not tightening may be due to a strip bolt or nut. Please also note the threading inside the nut (handle) needs to be threaded at the end not the start. For the blade issue: The advantage of this method over the traditional blade lock methods is simple – less damage from debris impact (washers allow the blade to slip in the event of an impact – reducing damage). Poor Support on Parts

Unbelievable that they would sell many of these yet after a short time make blades unavailable ...what a rip off. Once the blade is worn the trimmer is useless! I see others here have asked the same question as to where you can find replacement blades and there is no response from Yardworks.......very poor support for a company like this. Buy a Riobi...at least they have replacement parts.

Great Value - Great Job

This edger is perfect for the house or cottage, it is easy to assemble and light weight for ease of use. It cuts a clean, professional looking straight edge every time, curves can be a little tricky, so take your time. It seems pretty durable thus far, however time will tell. It is also reasonable compact for easy storage in the shed or garage. It is great value for the money and works as described, what more can you ask for.

I like the look of the clean, professional edge that this lawn edger leaves. My husband assembled it without any tools, quick and easy. The depth of the edge is nice and deep, leaves a clean edge look. Neighbours going to be jealous of your lawn.

Q: Where can I get replacement blades for my Yardworks Electric Lawn Edger I have looked everywhere I can think of on the internet for a list of repair parts for yardworks tools and can't find anything! I need to buy new blades for the Elecrtic Lawn Edger part number 060-3808-8
