BAD QUALITY ,DIED AFTER ONLY 2 YEARS

I bought this Mower 2 years ago and used lightly. It wroks fine in the first two years.
This year， This mower only work 3 seconds then stop running every time after I start the engine. I sent it to their warranty repair shop They spend 3 hours then told me they can NOT fix it ,because they can not find the cause of the stop running.

Lawnmower would not turn when received. Blade would hit inside of deck. Either wrong blade or it needs to be trimmed a bit.

So we purchased this mower in June 2018 we used it biweekly until recently 2 weeks ago the mower started blowing black smoke we let it rest and it seemed to finish off the lawn 2 days later. Well yesterday we tried to cut the lawn and the mower starts and stalls in less than 30 seconds. This was a poor choice of a lawn mower we regret purchasing it and now we are being forced to purchase a new one again after only having this one for 5 months.

It is a great mower for the price. the handle is a little short for me (6 ft tall) but it runs perfect.

Q: Can I use Pennzoil 5w-30 auto engine oil? If not what oil (brand and type) should I use?

A: 5w30 isn't thick enough for the summer months. Use at least 10w30. If you live in a very hot climate {above 35°C}, consider using 10w40 as the 10w30 oil doesn't protect very well above 35°C.

Q: Lawn Mower I would like to buy a lawn mover that I will be able adjust it to cut the grass short. Would I be able to do that with Yard Machines 148cc / 20" Lawn Mower?

A: Investing a little more in a Yardworks 60-1616 mower will get you 6 position fingertip height adjustment, larger overhead valve engine (cleaner, quieter, more fuel efficient), and a four year warranty - arguably the best side discharge mower value on the market.
