Friends and fellow cyclers will double-take when they see the Yakima Frontloader Roof Top Mount Bike Rack on top of your car. It carries your complete bike - no wheel removal needed. This universal mounting system fits onto nearly any crossbars you can think of, including the fully compatible Yakima StreamLine™ system.
Comes fully assembled
Holds bike upright while you secure the bike to the mount and makes no contact with the frame
Accommodates disc brakes, thru axles, and full suspension bikes
Front wheel can be left on for easy loading
Fits all round, square, factory, and aero crossbars
Fits 20” to 29” wheels with tire widths up to 3”
Rack can be locked to your crossbar, and bike can be locked to the rack; Yakima Same Key System Locking Cores (140-0229) sold separately
Capacity: fits one bike up to 40 lb (18.1 kg) at 18" (45.7 cm) crossbar spread; or 30 lb (13.6 kg) at 16" (40.6 cm) crossbar spread
No tools or assembly required
Bike Adapter may be required for women's, children's or alternative frame bikes to secure bike to the bike rack

Q: Which rail system would this be compatible with? I drive a 2012 Nissan Altima.
4 years agoA: Thank you for your question! You will need the Yakima baseline tower system. Unfortunately, this product is not currently offered by Canadian Tire.
