On l'a acheté il y a 3 ans et ma fille s'en sert une heure par jour depuis ce temps. Il fonctionne vraiment très bien. Lubrifier de temps en temps est la clé.

Great treadmill when the squeak was fixed

I purchased this treadmill on sale for a very good price. it comes in a supersized box that you will have to strip down outside as its to big to go through a door. the treadmill is also very heavy, two strong men heavy so call a friend to help get it out of your truck, the box and into your house. I liked that the treadmill was very sturdy compared to my old one and the steel construction was well built, there wasn't a million part to it which was good and it only took 15-20 mins to put it together. After using it for a few hours it started to squeak and it got really load and annoying. I e-mailed the company and they sent me some replacement bolts in the mail. they also contracted a local gym equipment repair person to install them. I'm not sure if the new bolts or the general purpose grease that he applied to the joints did the trick but its been super quiet now for over a month and I run on it every day. its so quiet that I have my Music or TV half as load as it was when I ran on my old treadmill. So if you have one that squeaks, lift up the running deck and loosen all of the front bolts at every movable joint, spread some grease on them and into the joints with a small paint brush (not WD-40, go buy a tube of grease) then tighten all of the bolts back up. (dont over-tighten as the joints need to move) if your treadmill is still under warranty and your not in a rush, get the company to fix it. This is a good Canadian built treadmill and I recommend it.

Cheap treadmill

Not for avid runners. Very cheaply made compare to the pro form I was replacing. I don't have much faith in how long it will last either, as it all together feels like a cheap no name treadmill. Spend the extra$

I bought this treadmill too fast. I should of read all the reviews before. This treadmill squeaks way to much. I've tried everything and it hasn't changed. I would never pay the original price for this treadmill, too much for the actual quality.

A: Ours stopped working after 9 days (both the carpet & the incline) so I'm not convinced the produst is any good!

Q: What about the noise, is it acceptable even if 3.5hp? Is it annoying or I will be able to watch tv while running? I want something powerful and solid, 3.5hp is pretty cool, but I don't want to make dirty noise all around the house...Thanks!

A: The noises is not from the motor. Rather, the carpet bed squeaks when in use.

Q: Reset button? when i have the key in, the console panel does not light up. The manual says to press the reset button on the front of the motor cover but there is no reset button anywhere.

A: The rest button is by the main switch. It's a little thing that say 15 amp. It's that fuse.

Q: Xxterra XT980 Pro treadmill- 3 years- 580 hr logged/1 walker & jogger daily 45 min ea/no problems-regular clean and silicone etc.Smell just started. Plug going into tread hot to touch/outside of casing(over motor)is warm. Burning smell-no smoke?Problem?
