WORX WG124 6A Electric String Grass Trimmer/Edger, 15-in

Product Details

When you need some extra performance for more challenging lawns, the powerful 6A 15” Electric Grass Trimmer and Edger from Worx leaves lawns looking crisp and clean. It’s only 6.8 lbs., so almost anyone can use it for extended periods without fatigue. And with an adjustable handle and telescoping shaft, it can be made to fit users of all sizes. The automatic feed dual-line system dispenses the right amount of string when you need it, out of two exit points, without the user needing to “bump” for more line. And let’s talk about that line for a second. It’s our patented DoubleHelix DNALINE2, with 100 lbs. of tensile strength. It’s designed to withstand breakage, and the aerodynamic oval shape cuts through the air and the grass, reducing drag. The 0.065” diameter is the same gauge that many professional landscaping crews use on their grass trimmers, so you’ll get satisfying results. This model has a 15” cutting diameter to get more done. That’s large enough to make smooth, even passes. But the real reason this string trimmer is such a value is because it’s also an edger. Just rotate the shaft and the head turns on its side so that you can cut crisp, long lines along driveways and curbs.

  • WORX 6A Electric Grass Trimmer features a lightweight design and 15" (38 cm) cutting swath

  • Quickly and easily converts from trimmer to in-line edger in seconds - no tools required

  • Automatic single line feed system replenishes your trimmer line throughout your job

  • Telescopic shaft can be adjusted for user comfort including 90 degree swivel for optimal ergonomics

  • Includes guider wheel and flower guard for professional edging

  • Trimmer Line Diameter: 0.065"

  • Cutting Swath: 15" (38 cm)

  • Weight: 7 lb (3.2 kg)

I bought my first Work trimmer around seven or eight years ago. Since then I have bought a. Power drill, another drill and a small screw gun. I like the products because they’re easy to use and as a woman I don’t have to mess with gasoline and oil. The trimmer is light weigh enough to handle for the small person that I am.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I had bought my first worx trimmer 10+ years ago on an impulse. Then I went for sometime without it and then tried another brand. Came back and it's just as good. I like the electric (corded) version even better as I don't have to worry about running out of juice

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I just bought the WG124 trimmer and edger. The original line on the spool it came with ran out within minutes. Even the replacement spool I inserted got used up entirely while trimming my lawn just the one time. How do I fix that?

Q: I am sorry to say that, the line feeder does not feed like it advertised to do. We have to advance it manually every time it breaks. Maybe our is defective? Is there a solution?.Other than the line not feeding the best edge trimmer out there!

What advances this line is centrifugal force a spring and a slider work together to advance the line as this slider stops sliding easily it stops advancing the line. I completely redesigned mine to fix this problem probably should do a youtube to teach all the changes i have done to fix 3 messes they have with this trimmer. Basically this trimmer is good but like all trimmers sold they cut corners to bring them to market and that means you suffer when there are these, to you big problems with its operation.
