Q: Are there just 6 blades in the package? The previous version had 12 blades included as i recollect. Has the frequency for swapping blades changed as in do these last longer so need to be swapped less frequently? Thank you

A: Hello there! There are 6 blades in that package, it is because they last longer because the cutting disc alternates which way it turns every time it comes out of the base and you can use the other side for longer life of a set of blades.
