    Really low quality

    My hubx has basically never worked right. I've been trying to use my makerx kit more recently and you just have to turn it on and off over and over again and wiggle the cable and try to get whatever's connected to actually power on without the battery power light flashing repeatedly. I have four different batteries, all have only been charged a few times, this hubx has basically been taking out of its bag and used a few times and is essentially like new. It's just a bad product. I've considered trying to open it up and replace whatever is broken inside, the cable maybe, but it's not worth it for the quality of the tools this thing runs in the first place, which isn't very good either, but at the heart of my very regrettable makerx kit purchase is this power pack that doesn't work well.

    The items in that make up the system are not labelled as part of a larger purchase to make it comlete. All of the parts in the system are not found at Canadian Tire.

    Cord Will Stop Working

    The power cord quit working on my third use. I got this with a set for Christmas a couple of years ago. The wire has some sort of short in it and it will completely cut off and on again. I gave up and quit using it.

    bought one of these twice. both times it worked once, then, never again. of course once the return window is closed. worx has disappointed me this time. should have listened to the internet.

    Q: Is there a belt clip I can add onto my previously purchased power hub. That would be a very handy addition. I would hate to have to buy a whole new hub just for this when the original one is in perfect working order.

    • A: I do not believe so. It looks like this is an updated version of the hub, the original does not have a threaded screw hole for the belt clip.
