Great hands off mower for low maintenance lawn

We really like this mower! It takes a little while to map out your yard, similar to an indoor roomba type vacuum so be patient, but once it finishes mapping it works well. This definitely works best on flat ground with some slight sloping but likely will get stuck in holes or large ditches.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The WORX Landroid Vision Cloud was incredibly easy to set up and use. I love not having to bury boundary wires—the guided and automated boundary detection makes mapping the yard feel modern and stress-free. The Wi‑Fi app makes scheduling and controlling the mower simple, while always-on location tracking adds peace of mind. It’s a smart, convenient upgrade that keeps the lawn maintained with very little effort.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Features: Custom Cutting & Scheduling

We are so happy we got this for our retired family! No more worrying about cutting the lawn, especially when the grass is growing like crazy and needs to be cut every 3 days. One of our favorite features is that you can program how often you want it to cut and how short you want the grass. We have two different types of grass, and one grows much faster than the other, so being able to customize the schedule has been a huge help. We also like our grass VERY short, and you can adjust that too! This has been such a huge help, and we are sooo happy with it!

Yes, I recommend this product.

This gets the job done—what more could you ask for

After owning several vacuum robots we decided it was time to go all in with this worx mower and wow was it a great investment. Setup was a breeze thanks to the included video and mapping ability. The robot managed to map the yard on its own with the first attempt, though it was not able to redock. I originally thought it was stuck so I put it in manual mode and it moved freely, responding accurately with no lag to input controls from my phone. The location had a slight incline and moving the station to a flatter area resolved the docking issue. I’m so glad I did not have to use wire to set up a perimeter, though you can use an included border strip to teach the robot a boundary where there is no fence. Our biggest concern with purchasing a mower bot was that we own 2 dogs who constantly carry their toys out to leave randomly in the yard. They try to sabotage the mowing but this robot is amazing at avoiding the obstacles. It also seems to use the offset edger to close in on the hazards, keeping the yard free of uneven grass. The mower also leaves a pattern in the yard that can be adjusted through the app and this is feature is kind of amazing really. There are security features, no go zones and edger disabling functions in the map which I will need to dig deeper. I was also impressed that I could connect over Bluetooth from inside my home. The first impression so far been very positive and am genuinely happy with the purchase. I’ll definitely be recommending this to friends

Yes, I recommend this product.

Makes lawn care so much easier

It cuts the grass really well, and the video was super helpful with the setup. Mapping the yard does take some patience, but I love that you can schedule it and set areas for it to avoid. It works great on flat areas, but it does struggle a little with longer hills. Overall, I’m really happy with it!

Q: Will the garage I have for my WR147 work with the charging station for the WR310.1 ? It looks like it could be made to fit on the sidr.

  • A: Just a suggestion, but there is a much better option available than the hinged hard plastic cover sold by Worx for the charging stations. You can do what I did for my own WR320 by getting a nice quality waterproof canvas "shed" with a steel framework that even includes ground stakes to keep it in place. You can get these on Amazon (at least for now), and I recommend the rectangular one. It costs not even 1/3 what the hard plastic "official" garage does, and it completely covers all the way down to ground level, much better in rain. The only caveat to it is that you need to get it positioned just right and ensure that lighting is sufficient for your mower to be able to see the charging QR code unimpeded.

Q: Can the WR320.1 fit a WORX 8.0Ah battery? I've seen mixed opinions online. Some people say it fits, while others say it doesn't.

Q: My backyard is enclosed with a privacy fence to keep my dogs contained.  What are my options for the yard that is opposite of where the base is located. Will it more that lawn without being able to get back to the base?

  • A: I have a similar situation and only use the Landroid for the back yard because I don't want to leave my gate open for the mower to move additional 'zones' in the front and side yards. (My front and side grass areas only take ~25 minutes to mow with an electric push mower.) However, if you wish for the Landroid to mow the area outside of the fence, you will need to open the gate to let it pass through to the other zones and close the gate behind it to contain your dogs. My mowing time is cut in half with only using my Landroid for the backyard so I feel it's worth it.

Q: On two sides of my lawn I have neighbors' lawns. No fence, no visible separation. 3  QUESTIONS. (1) Will cloud vision work? If so (2) Must I keep magnetic strips in my lawn forever, or just for mapping? (3) Can I just manually map borders?

  • A: I would suggest laying a garden hose on the boundary line for the "auto mapping". Once mapping is complete the hose can be removed. You can also manually map, but the garden hose will help give a nice straight line.

Q: It looks like this will eliminate the need to do edging or weed whacking. Is that true?

  • A: No, it doesn't eliminate edging unless you have perfectly straight lines and no obsticles but you'll need to do substantially less edging.

Q: Can you get a gateway to put in any fence that separates my front and back yard.

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. Thank you for your question. If your front and back yards are separated by a fence, the Landroid Vision will need a clear opening wide enough to travel between the two areas. While WORX does not offer a dedicated fence gateway accessory for this purpose, many customers create a mower-accessible opening in the fence or leave a gate open so the mower can pass between zones. If you can provide a photo or additional details about your fence layout, we'd be happy to offer guidance. Please feel free to contact us at reviews@positecgroup.com.

Q: How does the mower handle clippings? use a container to store or mulch them?

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WORX Landroid Vision Cloud 1/4 Acre (WR310) does not use a collection container or grass bag. Instead, it uses a mulching system. The mower cuts a very small amount of grass frequently and leaves the fine clippings on the lawn. These tiny clippings quickly decompose and return nutrients and moisture to the soil, acting as a natural fertilizer. There is no grass-catching bin, bagging attachment, or collection accessory available for this model. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: Can the WR 320 have intersecting paths linking multiple zones to each other?

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WR320.1 Vision Cloud supports multiple zones connected by paths; however, paths cannot cross or overlap one another. Each path should connect one zone directly to another and should not run through an existing zone. If you need to connect several areas, you'll want to create separate paths for each connection, or consider combining neighboring areas into a single zone if appropriate. If you need further assistance in mapping your lawn, please reach out to us at reviews@positecgroup.com. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: If a neighbor is on vacation, can I carry my mower and drop my WR310.1 on their lawn to mow? If so, do I use the app to adjust height and pattern?

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. the WR310.1 is not designed or intended to change locations without remapping. The mower can only store and use one map at a time. If the WR310.1 is moved to another property, the existing map must first be deleted, and a new map must be created for the new lawn. If the mower is later moved back to its original property, that process would need to be repeated, as the original map will no longer be stored. Because the WR310.1 can only maintain one map at a time, we do not recommend regularly moving the mower between different properties. Thank you for choosing WORX!
