Easy mowing

This super lightweight mower is ideal for smaller properties and people who aren't strong enough to push some lumbering hulk around. The narrow wheelbase makes it great going around corners and it's easy to maneuver on awkward slopes, like my ditch. The assembly instruction sheet is written in hieroglyphics but you can look up a third party video online. I found the battery charge lasts long enough to get what we need done, and anyway my 85 year old partner needs recharging at least that often. It's also mercifully quiet.

Hello there! Thank you for your question. If the grass collection bag on your WG779 is not collecting clippings, please check to make sure the mulch plug has been removed. When the mulch plug is installed, the mower is designed to keep the grass circulating under the deck for mulching, preventing clippings from being directed into the collection bag.
To use the grass bag properly, remove the mulch plug completely and ensure the bag is installed securely. Once the mulch plug is removed, the grass clippings should be directed into the bag as intended.

A: No it WILL NOT WORK. I have many 20V tools, and while the battery will fit into the mower, it will not power it on. Even if you try a 4ah battery that comes with the mower and a 2ah from your other tools, it does not work. The mower will start and immediately stop as if it is out of battery. So the mower MUST have BOTH 4ah batteries in it to work. You can use the 4ah batteries in your other tools though.

Q: How do the WORX 17" and 14" compare? Need for mostly trimming and small areas.

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. The 40v 17" lawn mower would over all be bigger by a few inches and it has 7 different cutting height positions rather than just 6 like the 14" does. However, they do carry the same amount of power, function the same, and use the same batteries. They are designed to be traditional push mowers and create a flat cut of grass.
