Noisy and heavy

I like my WG545.1 way better. It's lighter weight and quieter. I had it for 9 years and used every day but the battery is old. This"turbine" WG457 is heavier and way noisier. It's a shriek. Awful. It doesn't blow any better than my old one. Bigger is not always better.

We recently purchased your leaf blower and found it to be exactly what we needed for quick patio and garage clean up. We have purchased Worx tools for several years and have never been disappointed.

Nice lightweight blower.

So far I really like it. It's a little shrill on high speed but I'll get used to it. Only complaint is that the button for checking the power level on the battery is different from all my other power share batteries. It is so tiny that it's almost impossible to push with just a fingertip and requires a long fingernail or tool.

This summer I underwent a reverse shoulder replacement, this put limitations on what I needed to do for any yard work. My gas blower was too much for my wounded wing, the worx 20v leaf blower was the answer to my problem, strong, light weight, powerful enough to do everything I needed to get done. Thank You!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great leaf blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cordless blower was very reasonably priced (caught it on sale!!). Shipping was prompt and blower was exactly as advertised. Assembly was easy - blower is lightweight & easy to use. Dual speed helps with situations where less or more blowing power is needed. Have large "backpack" blower and the Turbine Cordless fills in nicely when less power is needed. Have been pleased with previous works products abd this one will priove the same.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I have had my 20V blower for about three weeks and I have found that the batteries do not last very long. I can use them for a few minutes and the battery level will be completely drained. I would like to know if anyone else has this issue?

  • A: Yes.. I was told on high the 20v battery will only last 10 mins. They have a 20V 6.0 AH MAXLITHIUM BATTERY item WA3671 the gal told me would last up to 60 mins that would work on this blower. I'm now wondering if it last 60 mins on low blow not high. I don't know if I want to sock out 100.00 extra or just send it back.

  • A: Same problem here and am certain it is the switch as it’s design is pretty straightforward.  i had 2 of these as i bought the kits and wish i hadn’t sold the other one.    parts for switch look is poorly designed- plastic gear leveraging 2 different switches for hi-low and i don’t see a way of repairing without rewiring and using a different type of switch to bypass the built in.   bad design flaw.  otherwise, love the blower when it works.

Q: So the battery that a light weight product comes with only last ten minutes and your company thought that would work for blowing leaves off a deck and if it did not the customer could pay MORE MONEY for the product to work properly.

  • A: This has happened to me on occasion with the 4A batteries when switching from OFF quickly through low to high both with full batteries and partially discharged batteries. I've had better luck first going to low for a second or two and then to high. Hope that helps!

Q: I bought a 20V blower about a month ago and have found that the charge on a battery does not last very long. I look at other reviews on this product and nobody else mentions this issue. Could the batteries that were sent with the blower be defective?

Q: I bought the WORK WG547; 20V Cordless Blower, three days ago. I charged the battery and used it to blow grass cuttings from the lawn. I used it at the second speed and the battery died in 10 minutes. Is this the expected time?

  • A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. The blower will have a runtime of 7-14 minutes with the 2.0AH battery. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional high-capacity battery, such as the 4.0Ah, 5.0Ah, or 8.0Ah batteries. Thank you for choosing Worx!
