Always enough to do the job right !!!

Nothing is as convenient as picking up my Worx 20 volt cordless jigsaw to finish up a project by cutting around corners or making a smooth cut to fit tight against an adjoining surface. The jigsaw is lightweight, sturdy and the quality is outstanding just like all of my other Worx tools. Switching batteries is a breeze and I always have enough power to do the job right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jigsaw seems to be build very well.It has as much power as corded one.i put 4amp battery on it and used it for about an hour ,battery still had over half power. I will be getting rid of all my power corded ones.

What.a great jigsaw! No need for an extension cord, easy loading any type of cutting blade, easy adjusting for angle cuts, vaccum attachment tube is very useful when needed.The LED light keeps your cuttings straight and the blower keeps your cutting surface clean. All Worx tools in my collection are also a great long term glad I purchased!

Q: How is this tool different from the Axis combo of recip/jig saw? Is there any advantage to buying a single purpose tool over a convertible one?

A: The main difference is the WORX Axis is two in one where the WX543 is just the JigSaw. The only advantage would be that the WX550L can convert from a reciprocating saw to a jig saw within seconds where the WX543 can only be a JigSaw. Overall, when choosing which tool, it depends on what kind of projects you are planning on doing, and if you are going to need to use the reciprocating saw.

A: Yes! You can plunge cut with this tool and make bevel cuts up to 45 degrees. For your convenience, illustrations on how to complete a plunge cut are available in your owner's manual as well. To change the bevel setting on your Cordless Jigsaw, first, remove the battery. Turn the saw over and, using the included allen key, loosen the base stabilization screw. Push the base forward to disengage the teeth holding it in place. Angle and adjust base using the bevel scale on the base to the required angle. Slide the base back to re-seat the teeth. Tighten the base stabilization screw. Reattach the battery, and you're ready to go!

A: The 20V Cordless Jigsaw uses standard T-shank jigsaw blades. Customize your tool to the job at hand by picking the blade most appropriate for the material you're cutting. Standard T-shank jigsaw blades can be purchased at most local hardware or home improvement stores. WORX offers a multi-functional kit under Accessories as well! NOTE: When cutting metal, use an appropriate coolant or lubricant along the cutting line.
