Another great innovation from Worx Tools

I've never bought a Worx Tool that I wasn't happy with. This tool made me think of all of the things I could do with it. I plan to start with it this weekend when I build a workbench. I see so many other applications for it from woodworking to tree trimming. It is definitely going to be one of my go to tools.

It was good before the trigger stop working

Used it 2 times with the rep saw and once with jigsaw. It stopped while cutting 2” wood with the rep saw. Try to restart it but the trigger got stuck. Also tried to register the product and spent long time going down the SKU list. Alphabetical order would be a good.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Perfect for occasional use.

I had this for about 6 years and it was perfect for what I needed. Lost it in the bush somewhere while trimming out underbrush and tree roots so planning on getting another. I used it as a reciprocating saw to cut down trees, branches, pvc and copper tubing for irrigation jobs, nails for stripping pallets, and everything in between. Used the jigsaw format for cutting sheeting for walls and roof, cutouts, deck boards end trimming, drywall, truck body panels, rebar, 1/8" metal plates, etc. Never had a problem with it even though it was dropped, drowned, left in the rain, covered in dirt and mud (not recommended). The orbital function switch also allows for aggressive rough cuts in wood. The only problem is that it burns through batteries fast (comes with low Ah battery). I have a monster Makita AVT demolition reciprocating saw which works fantastic but is heavy and has to be plugged in.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great 2 in 1tool

Two tools in one, love how quick & easy it is to change blades. A bit frustrating that sawdust obscures the cutting line in jigsaw mode, but still cuts well. I also like that it switches to reciprocating saw in seconds.

Burnt out during a bit of heavy use

Electrical burning smell during some heavy use and then it stopped working. Surprised that that there is no protection circuit to prevent tool motor failure from overload.
