40volt leaf blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great with its 3 power levels.It can even blow some wet leaves.I use it a great deal.

Works Great For Dry Leaves

I have had this for a few years now great unit. It chops leaves into confetti sized pieces. It is a bit heavy and noisy but with the shoulder strap its not that bad. The one draw back is that if you vacuum wet leaves this thing clogs up quickly and is inefficient. FYI there is a 15 amp glass fuse in the handle. If for some reason yours stops working check this first when disassembling to troubleshoot. No mention of this anywhere in the manual but a great idea to protect the motor.

Sparks come from it

Bought this and you can see sparks from it. Seems like a dangerous thing to be happening. Only have used a few times and this already started. Dangerous product!

Keeps clogging

Another useless WORX tool. I thought since it was electric and not battery operated it would have more power and work better. I donated my battery operated tools since the battery only lasted 15 minutes tops. But nope, the power is no better using electricity! It cloggs continuously while using the vacuum option. I have to stop over and over and empty the shoot. I've used it a total of 4-5 hours over 2.5 years because a rake works better. I see that it is now discontinued. Gee, I wonder why!

Q: I have a large quantity of leaves to vacuum and mulch. Is there a tube or hose to route mulched leaves that is 2" wide x 5-8' long? The container, in place of the trash bag, can be a trash(30gal) can with a dolly so I could pull it along with me?

A: Careful when clicking that link the WORX Customer Care gave you. It is for one that is not compatible with the WG510. If you look closely, there is a link on that page to go to the appropriate one though.

Q: Hi, after I've cleaned up my yard the WORX WG-510 gets dirty with a lot of dust and that's OK. My question is how to clean the the WORX WG-510 after I've used it. How to clean the mulching bag, the blades, the tubes, etc. It is an awesome product.

We recommend the following, that can be found on page 7 of the Owner's Manual: Under no circumstances spray with water. — To clean the tool, use only mild soap and a damp cloth. — Do not use any type of detergent, cleaner or solvent which may contain chemicals that could seriously damage the plastic. Q: What all can the corded turbine fusion blower/mulcher/vac pick up...other than leaves...hedge trimmings? What diameter?

A: It will pick up more than just the Leaves, like twigs and broken pieces of branches. I had to keep stepping on the larger pieces of wood because it sucks them up too. Mine is new and I took it out to see how good it was. Boy was I surprised, even wet leaves stuck together. Be carful to many wet leaves and it will clog up the cutters. I have different leaves in my yard some that stick together like on a vine and this thing picks up everything.... even wood. The closer you put it to the ground the more things it will pick up!

Q: Is there anyway to stop the leaf dust from coming out between the blower vac body and the bagger assembly it gets really messy when using and blows dust all over any thoughts appreciated.

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. Worx offers a collection system that will take place of the bag and rather than gathering the leaves into a bag it will funnel them into a trash can! This can help minimize dust since the wind speed will push all the debris and leaves away from you, rather than gathering in the bag right next to you.
