Great for the price

I bought the 8x10 version of this tarp which I cannot find on the website. It was on sale so the price was right. It is not the lightest tarp but for under $30 it was great. It packs down small and saved the day when we had an unexpected rain while backcountry camping in northern ontario. I set it up with a slight lean and after 6 hours of constant rain the underside was still dry to the touch. It beads and sheds water well. It does absorb smells which I am not sure if that is normal for all tarps. The next time I took it out it smelt of smoke from the previous trip which I didn't mind but something worth noting. I will definitely have this with me on all future canoe trips.

Light, easy to put up and quiet!! Slept soundly on windy nights with this up. Keep us warm from wind and rain out on Georgian Bay! Definately a must in my pack!
