Great Pack!

I did a 3 day, 2 night excursion on the French River, ON. A great back pack to get everything into it! I got all necessary gear into the pack. You will require a compression sack for your sleeping bag if you want it inside your pack! Very comfortable, lots of pockets, good foam on shoulder and waist straps. Fit very well for my size, 6'1". The rain fly did its job, as we were canoeing in some terrible weather! Worth it so much that I will be buying the same one for my wife! Watch for this pack to go on sale for an even better price!

Portaging Pack

I purchased the bag to use on an upcoming portaging trip. I found it to be weird that the shoulder straps were stiffer than all the other bags that I've seen but thought it would be okay. After having it for 2 weeks and packing the bag with everything I need for the trip to test out the capacity, I've come to the conclusion that the straps are just way too stiff to be uncomfortable. When I say stiff, I mean that it feels like the straps are plastic on the inside which have no give when it's on my shoulders even when adjusted to my body.

No, I do not recommend this product.
