Packaging not as described

The box says that the set includes an additional lid to use your pot for other uses. I spoke with Woods and this is a packaging printing error. There is no other lid that comes with this set, which makes the use of it less versatile. When comes the time to poor out of the pot, it dribbles. There is no instruction in the package. The screw must be loosened before grinding coffee beans otherwise all you do is puree your beans. Once the screw is loosened to desired texture, it does work well. I did get a prompt response from Woods and I believe they have changed the description of the product on the website. It just won't help those who are buying directly in store.

Fait du bon cafe, le moulin a cafe donne un cafe fin moulu.Mais un peu lent. Resite au feu.bonne achat pour camper pecher et chasser.Je l'utilise assez, souvent merci.

I typically like woods products but this was a horrible purchase. Grinding the coffee takes 10 solid minutes of cranking, the pot spills 10% of the coffee down the mug, tried four times to change the pour, it spilled relentlessly back onto the pot every time. LOTS of sediment in coffee, screen obviously isn't snug enough.
Will try to return if I can find the receipt.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice one piece kettle and press for coffee

This is perfect for a couple. We bought it ahead of a car camping trip and found it more than did the trick for us. We even used it on the stove at a condo we stayed at. The grinder works quite well and as long as you don't fill the press up with too much water (the water rises when you put the grounds in) then you shouldn't have to deal with grinds in your coffee. Highly recommend, affordable and effective.

A: Diagram doesn't show all the tiny bits - washers, spring etc. Metal washer has prongs on one side so is obviously important to put in proper orientation.

Q: Can the grind size be adjusted? Looking for fine to espresso sized grind. Can it be adjusted for coarse to fine grind?

A: The grind size absolutely can be adjusted. There is a nut in the bottom portion of the grinder. Clockwise for finer grind and counter clockwise for coarser grind. For pressed coffee you'll want a fairly coarse grind.

Q: Box indicates it contains 4 pieces, but it only has 3 , no extra lid? Web site does not mention extra lid but it is clearly indicated in four spots on the box, could i please get the extra lid shipped to me? I checked several packages at CDN tire and they all were missing the extra lid.
