Would not work :-(

I bought this a couple of days back. Today I had time to install it. The mechanism is simple and set-up instruction easy to read. However it is not working, will have to return it tomorrow.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good timer but be aware

It's a good timer but there are a couple points to consider. 1. As advertised it is very eat to install, I installed it on a standard toggle switch. 2. The programming is easy and versatile like most timers. 3. The mechanism that actually moves the switch had too much play in it, so at first it did not turn my lights on. I fixed this by carefully glueing a plastic tab to reduce the pay. I used expoxy glue but you have to be careful not to glue the moving parts so they cannot move. It now works fine. 4. The motor and gears in the mechanism are bit loud, it takes about 5 seconds to switch on or off and I got used to it, but the cat does not like it. 5. So far a set of batteries has lasted 2 months, I am optimistic to get a least a few more months. 6. It's pretty big and will extend above the switch plate. If you are ok with all this then it's a great timer.

It's so simple to install, it's easy to program, and more importantly - it works! The nice thing is that it is battery operated, so you don't have to reset the time when the power goes off. I'll buy another one for my other outdoor light!

Ne fonctionne pas

Le mécanisme sensé actionner l'interrupteur derrière le boîtier ne fonctionne pas. Le montage a pourtant été bien fait, les batteries sont neuves, mais la pièce de plastique se bloque ou n'appuie pas assez fortement pour pousser l'interrupteur. Un objet inutile que j'ai rapporté dès le lendemain de mon achat.
