Straight to the landfill. Quite the bargain

Product cannot be installed as per the instructions. The design is very poor making installation tight, and if you even tap a cover with a rubber mallet, the cover will fall to pieces. I did this on a nice warm autumn day. I can't imagine what would happen if you tried the install below freezing. Save your money buy burning it, at least you won't have to drive to CT to spend it on these covers, then putting them out to the curb.

Look great but fragile to prepare for mounting

Bought these on sale. when settting them up for mounting, a plastic tab broke which means it had to be replaced. when inquiring about refund, cashier said it was NOT an option. I didn't expect such answer. Anyhow, I proceeded differently with replacement set: instead of forcing the abs/plastic tab, I forced the ring into place which prevented a second breakage. ALSO, a bit of a design flaw, it is a bit hard to mount in the stronger zone since the valve clearance part size almost prevent setting up in that zone. But I needed the stronger set up since I could pull them out fairly easily in the normal position. Nothing worse than losing freshly installed wheel covers on the tiniest bump and noticing much later... Happy 2020 to all!

Have had these for over a year now, have done two seasonal tire swaps for AS and Winter tires, removing and replacing these wheel covers and they are stading up well, plus they look great!

Q: Is the wire retention ring system on the back fitted to go around the air valve or is it just round and hits the valve which can cause the valve to slowly leak?

A: The retention ring has a concave area which is for stem valve area, and there is a notch as well on the wheel cover to be compatible with the stem valve.
