A good slicer. Two observations i have ; a better mechanism to change the slicing size would be great. The slicer either shaved the meat way too thin or too thick. Can't get it to have a nice thin slice like the butcher. Also a better guide that pins the meat in place is needed.

A: Yes, I would definitely recommend this product for that purpose. It's a heavy duty product. I purchased this for slicing bacon (home cured and smoked), so the blade is sharp enough for bread.
