Pas mal de la marde

Faut pas s'attendre à grand chose avec ça. La suction ne fonctionne vraiment pas. Je peux seulement l'utiliser en pompant fort très vite pour que le métal liquide se tasse.
Vaut mieux acheter une vrai pompe.

Useless tool buy a desoldering wick instead

I bought this item based on the reviews. This is why I want to give an accurate review for anybody else like me who is thinking about buying this.
First, nobody mentioned that it's carcinogenic . It's written on the label but I just saw it after I had bought it.
Second, it works very poorly. Unless you have a huge blob of molten solder it does not have enough suction.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Desoldering Bulb

I had never had one of these - so I just had to try it. What a fantastic addition to my soldering kit. Now I can easily remove excess solder with out having to resort to wicks.

Good Cheap method of De-Soldering.

A quality product from a reputable brand name. Needs a steady hand when operating the rubber suction bulb because when releasing the compressed suction chamber it requires concentration to keep the nozzle on the target area. I decided to return it and search for a more accurate syringe type device.

Q: Does the tip need replacing often? Are spares available?

A: The 7805 Desoldering Bulb (CTC #58-0006) uses a Teflon Tip which is heat resistant but will melt if it comes into direct contact with a tip during use. Life of the Teflon Tip is based on many variables (temperature of the tool in use, number of solder joints removed, etc.). The tip is not offered as a replacement part.
