Très déçu de mon achat, Après une courte période d'utilisation, l'écran a complètement cessé de fonctionner sans raison apparente. Pour un produit de ce prix, je m'attendais à une bien meilleure qualité et fiabilité. Cette panne rend l'appareil pratiquement inutilisable. Je ne recommande pas ce produit

1. Ouvrez la porte et placez le pêne en position de verrouillage. Dévissez et retirez le bloc intérieur, puis vérifiez que le câble est bien fixé et correctement rangé.
2. Remontez le bloc intérieur en veillant à ce que la tige d'entraînement et le bouton de manœuvre soient en position verticale (comme indiqué à la page 13), tout en maintenant le pêne en position verrouillée.
3. Installez un jeu de piles alcalines neuves, effectuez la réinitialisation aux paramètres d'usine ainsi que la procédure de configuration du sens d'ouverture de la porte, puis ajoutez un code utilisateur :

Lock Malfunction
a month ago
Can't even lock it. Every time I press the lock, I just get 3 beeps with a red light. I have factory reset and everything, trying to create a code and nothing. Just 3 beeps and red light when I try to press the lock button. Very frustrating.

We're sorry to hear of your frustration and are here to help! To fix this, we recommend checking the lock’s installation by following the steps below:
1. Open the door and place the latch in the LOCKED position. Unscrew and remove the interior assembly and check that the cable is secure and tucked away.
2. Reattach the interior assembly, ensuring that the tailpiece and turn-piece are in a vertical position as shown on page 13, while keeping the latch locked.
3. Install a fresh set of alkaline batteries and complete the Factory Reset, Door Rehanding process, then add a User Code:

Unreliable faulty door lock

I purchased a weiser smart lock which died on me in within 4 years. It's a nice looking expensive lock but simply is unreliable as it cannot withstand normal residential use. Warranty denied my claim blaming it on an electrical issue. This is a big disappointment to rely on weiser. Hopefully another product will fair better.

1. With the door open, place the latch in the locked position. Remove the interior assembly and check the cable connection, making sure it is securely connected and tucked away from the spindle.
2. Reinstall the interior assembly, ensuring the tailpiece and turn piece are in the vertical position, as shown on page 13 of the installation guide.
3. Insert a fresh set of batteries and complete the Factory Reset and Door Handing process to recalibrate the latch. Add a User Code and test the lock while the door remains open:

Stylish, sturdy lock!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I installed the new Weiser Smartcode Matte Black Lock in my mudroom a week ago. Not only is it sleek and sturdy, it comes with a backlit touchpad which makes it really convenient in my dim-lit garage. It's just what I needed. Definitely recommend it!
