Unreliable faulty door lock

I purchased a weiser smart lock which died on me in within 4 years. It's a nice looking expensive lock but simply is unreliable as it cannot withstand normal residential use. Warranty denied my claim blaming it on an electrical issue. This is a big disappointment to rely on weiser. Hopefully another product will fair better.

No, I do not recommend this product.

With the door open, place the latch in the locked position. Remove the interior assembly and check the cable connection, making sure it is securely connected and tucked away from the spindle. 2. Reinstall the interior assembly, ensuring the tailpiece and turn piece are in the vertical position, as shown on page 13 of the installation guide. 3. Insert a fresh set of batteries and complete the Factory Reset and Door Handing process to recalibrate the latch. Stylish, sturdy lock!

Not only is it sleek and sturdy, it comes with a backlit touchpad which makes it really convenient in my dim-lit garage. It's just what I needed. Definitely recommend it!

I really appreciate that you can program up to 50 codes and that you can delete them after you no longer need them. This is helpful for us as we can feel confident knowing that if we provide a code, we can easily delete the access and know that they no longer have access to your home. This lock was simple to install and all you require is a screw driver.

Beautiful Lock

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Install was a breeze and the keypad is very nice. My boyfriend installed this on our front door and it didn’t take him long at all. The manual instructions well very clear. It takes AA batteries (not included). Well built and the black colour looks very sharp. I feel better knowing our home is secure but easy to access and no keys to remember to bring (helpful with forgetful teenagers). Weiser is a great brand and I am confident this will hold up in our Canadian winters.
