Touch opening

Works good. Bluetooth only so you can't check if door locked once you leave driveway. Too bad it's not wifi connected so you could check door while you're away.

Nice but doesn’t open without app

Nice looking lock. Pretty easy to install but I missed a step. Called the help desk at Weiser but had to get transferred three times until someone knew how to fix it. Easy fix. App requires an account. I still can’t manage to open it with proximity. I have to actually open my phone then the app to unlock.

it did not work, returned it for refund. Latch would not retract.

On sale, this is a great price. Full price, this is overpriced. Works good overall.

The Kevo app itself is good and works every time. I can't figure out how to get the touch on it working though. I expected that I had my phone in my pocket and I could walk up to the door and touch the lock and it would open (based on what the box and manual say), but I can't figure that out. But with the app, it DOES work super easy and every time, so I am ok with the product overall. I got the product on sale 50% off, which was worth it. At full price I think it is EXTREMELY over priced. This really should sell for a lot less and it would be more mainstream as it only comes with the lock itself, no handles, nothing. I had to put a false-handle on the door to be able to open and close it. Looks sleek and does the job. So far so good. Would be 4 stars if it had more to it than a simple lock (i.e. value for the money), and 5 stars if I could get the touch figured out.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Might be too techy for me.

Maybe I'm not the most techy person but the set up wasn't easy to follow and maybe I did it wrong but sometimes the lock will lock/unlock within 5 seconds but most often it takes 2, 3 or even 4 presses which translates to 20-30 seconds of waiting for the lock to do its thing. I will be returning this for a standard press button combo lock. Never did figure out how to send someone else the email to allow them to open the lock.

No, I do not recommend this product.
